New light.... new pics

Well I got my new Finnex 150w HQI w/ 2-18w actinic fixture for my cube today.
Took tons of pics under HQI,
none looked good enough to post. Anybody got any tips for this as the tank looks outstanding under this light, and I just can't seem to get it through to the pics. :mad: Got a few under actinic tonight I'll share. Hope you like them. First is a full tank shot, 2nd a pic of the brain I picked up yesterday, 3rd a partial tank shot.

I like the pics. You're going to have to play with the white balance to get the best results. A custom white balance may be your best bet. Depending on the camera you have you can alter the warmth of the WB to account for the blue. After you find the right WB you'll have to adjust your shutter speed or aperature to get the right amount of light to achieve the results you want. It's nice to be able to snap pictures with digital cameras and make immediate adjustments until you get the right settings for what you want.
