New Lights BIG difference

I have a 90 gal aga rr tank that I just installed a Current Outer Orbit 2x250MH, 4x65 T5 actinic, W 9 LED moonlights. First off, there is a HUGE difference between the "bargain" bulbs found in Odessea fixtures which this replaced. The Actinics and moonlights cause my zoos and rics to glow they never did with the other lights. The addition of MH to my tank is unbelievable.
So, if you are debating on wether or not to spend Big money for the name brand lights or go for the bargain lights, you do get what you pay for. Is a chiller next? I hope not, however I have not had the MH on for longer than 4 hrs at a time. I am still trying to acclimate the tank to the bright lights. And I don't have to worry about my lights catching on fire

can u post pics? how many fans does that unit have in it? Is it very loud when the fans come on? are you sure that those are not pc lights i did not know they make 65watt t5?

me too. im about 20 minutes away. not a lot of good LFS around here, would like to find a good one.

i used to have one and it completely collapsed and fell into the tank. needless to say it doesnt work anymore...

Im about 30 min away..
I go to Wet Pets Plus in Canton
Pet Connection in Alliance or
Coral Reefs in Akron....
and sometimes to ***** in Canton
Just wanting to know if there is a good one that I am missing.

i hear that about no good lfs. im 20 min east of cleveland and theres 2 decent stores around here that i know of and one of which is crazy expensive.

I kind of stumbled upon Phis** Bus***** in Ghanna (cols.) after the frag swap this past fall. Sweet little store, LOTS of frags. Currently I go to Wet Pets in N. Canton on Whipple, There is a small place on the south side of Firestone's golf course, I forget the name. They have unique stuff. I used to go to petsmart but their prices are outrageous on materials, livestock is decent but they are "pimps", I'd rather support a family business.

i like wet pets, hate the staff though. havent heard of pet connection, think ive been to coral reefs a couple times. my favorite is two turtles in akron, great selection & very healthy livestock. the managers suck but the staff is very knowledgable and i get a lot of good deals there.

you'll notice a big difference in the growth in corals and in coralline. i sure did.

Where is Two Turtles?
Yes the actinic are T-5 64watt I think 4 bulbs 2 of each wavelength.
The fixture has 2 fans in the enclosure I think. One at the intake end and one exhausting heat out the center of the top. Current does not reccomend the fixtures use under a hood, so I got a 3" holesaw and opened up a few holes for "breathing".

We really like the Mini, It fits the four of us fine. When it is paid for the oldest will be driving and I can get another one

. Both boys are nuts over it having it put away for the winter just kills them. I am up to 4 hours of MH on and the actinic is on for 7hr. Every few days I'll add another hour to each time. The temp is ok so far.
where is pet connection in alliance?
noise? yes it does hum somewhat. the fans in the mh ballasts are loudest of all.

It is a small place on West State Street, right between some type of meat market and a big church. The selection is not very big but they do get good stuff in from time to time. I'm close to it so i get food and dry goods mostly from them.
