heres a couple pics of my new lights, i just upgraded from a coralife 72" 3x150w hqi 10k, to 3x250w 14k coralvue. the pics make it look not as bright as it is in person and my digi cam is on the fritz im lucky i even got these pics to turn out. let me know what you think and if you think i should supplement with T5 or VHO, i want to keep the same tint of blue, just want to brighten it up a bit. thanx for looking.

hey king,
do those lighted fans work nicely for moonlight effect?
I've been thinking of replacing mine with those and leaving them on 24/7

Hey Tony how’s it going?
Tank looks much better with the 14k and the hood not as much glare and focuses on the tanks display more now than the light fixture.
I would put some actinic T5's in the hood so you can simulate the dawn-dusk still. I would prefer t5s over power compacts for 2 reasons, less heat and more energy efficient. You don't need them for the coral health just the looks. I wish coralife made a retro with MH, T-5 and moon lights. But I am still happy with the aqualight pro retro that I have. I didn't use the fan that came with it instead I got 2 120mm computer fans that run at only 8 db of noise can't even hear them. I run them 24hrs to help with good gas exchange at the surface of the water. I'm going to Manchester tomorrow with some xenia’s that I have fragged talked to bill at the fish shack and he is going to take the 6 rocks that I have fragged hopefully for a small credit
Probably going to head to Dubuque to see what they have there to. Is there any other LFS stores in Dubuque that you know of that carry saltwater
here’s a updated pic of the tank and the frags I am getting rid of.
