New Live Rock

I recently purchased 16 pounds of LR from our LFS. We set it up to cycle in our QT. We never had an ammonia spike. Amonia is still at 0. All other parms were 0 and Nitrates were 20. Does this mean it's okay to put in our DT? It has been in the QT for 10 days.

how big is your dt? if it's something like a 75 gallon, i'd toss it right in.

How funny you are so close, I'm in Drexel Hill. The DT tank is a 46 gallon bow front.

I think you have to consider how much LR you currently have in the tank v. how much you bought too .. MAYBE the LR you bought is already cycled? Could be ..

IMO local is the key word if your LR was already cured and it remained wet until you got home I think you had very little die off if any and you should be good to go

+1 I would find out FIRST if the rock was "cured" before I put it in the DT , seems to me that is allot of rock to just toss in a 46gal if you are not sure
