I just got a new lobed leather 2 days ago...after reading this site I see it is normal for them to shed and it may take a little while for it to fully open...Mine seems to change a lot, draws up, lays its lobes down towards the sand, and has little brown dots that come out all over it....
Question: I have lots of flow in my tank, BUT do I need to have the koralia blowing directly on it? I can see it is getting a lot of water movement...just not direct. Also, my sand sifting goby keeps dropping sand on it...I have already cleaned it off with light air from a turkey baster...should I keep doing that, or will the sand not bother it?
I don't know a lot about this coral yet, but any other info. or tips, would be greatly appreciated.
