Gads .......I was reading to 2 am last night and I am still only about half understanding some issues.
And I shot a manual 35 MM camera for years..........

hey big ...if u want a 500 dollar lens and u want macro shots ...
i highly highly recomend getting the f 1.8 55mm and a revers coupler maybe all for about 150
that lens will do verrrrrrrrrrrrrrryyyy well in low light and its really cheap i have it and man ....its a beuty! i have it for my nikon but its also made for canon

it was on manual focus. Do you think a ring flash will make a difference, I just can't seem to get a clear shot. When I go manual and open the f stop to 22 the pic is to dark. Any help is appreciated.
The ring flash doesn't work well for tank shots...it reflects too much. I have one.

ill post pictures up of my "dead" corals i dont have any as im cycling but i dont want this threat to get out of "subject'' so we will go on with corals and Macro shots lol ......
