NEW MONTI FRAG,is there a real name?

hello everyone i got a new frag today i have never seen one like this does anyone have one or know the real namke for it of is it just brown with yellow ring and pollyps monti haha thanks guys

I am not an expert but i am pretty sure it is not a monti, it is a yellow scoll coral it what it looks like to me but that is just my opinion

yup i just googled it nice peice veni thanks for the help does yours grow fast veni and how much does a small frag usually cost? curious if he got me haha

I no longer have that piece but i paid like $30 for it and it was the size of a 12" softball.It grows pretty fast likes lots of light and moderate flow.Its a pretty hardy coral and easy to care for.

I lost it in the a transfer from my 75 to my 125.

how far are you from springfield,il and would you get another scoll coral? are they easy to frag?

Im just outside of Chicago,and yes i would buy another.I never fragged that particular coral but it would guess its just like any other plate,just cut it with a copeing saw and glue it to a plug or piece of LR.

does chicago have any nice lfs? there are none worth the drive here.a good one in stl though
