New Nano Hitchhikers

I recently set up my 14g Biocube. I was lucky enough to score 17lbs of LR from a well established tank. The rock is full of hitchhikers. My question is about Serpant Stars. I swear have 25 or more baby stars in the rock. There are legs sticking out everywhere. Do I have to worry about die off during the cycle and should I try to feed them something.
Been out of the seen for a while and really excited to be back.

I have a million of those little devils too! If you got the rock from an established tank and directly put it in your tank right after you got it, then you should have a little cycle but nothing big or damaging enough to kill them off.

The rock was out of water for about 5 hours. It sat in a tube with lights and a skimmer for about five days then went into the tank. Test the other day and I have some traces of Nh3.

I have a bit of red stuff beginning to form on one of my rocks. I this the hitch-hikers your talking about? How do we know if its good or bad?
