new owner.question about my nitrites?

i cheked my level,and it was to high!please give me some advise on how to bring it down?

how old is your tank?? are you in the middle of cycling? What are your other levels?? specifically ammo and nitrates?? Is there anything in your tank??
I always hate answering questions with more questions but these are kind of important factors.

as with kris how old is your tank?? if it is still in the middle of it's cycle then wait it out. other wise do a water change. make sure that it is the right temperature. if you add the water too cold you can send the fishies into shock. so make sure that the water that you add to the tank has the same temp and close enough same salinity.
