The hippos are beautiful, but like I said shy...I'm not a tang expert so if others reading care to comment on adding a hippo to a 75 go right ahead.
If I had to do it over again I probably wouldn't do the hippo in the 75 and wait till I get a significantly larger tank where you can get multiple tangs and watch them school.
ok so what if i took out the hippo and added a henichous butterfly?

I wouldn't recommend more then 1 tang in a 75. I had a YT in a 75 before and as he grew, he started looking cramped, can't imagine 2........... I think thats ich waiting to happen :scared:

I was under the impression that most butterflies were not reef safe, but I could be wrong.
Let me say that the wrasse is great to watch...in constant motion and pretty as well.

Tangs and angels both need lots of algae to nibble on, they love to pick off of rock,so a well established tank is best for both these fish, that may have been why your angel didin't make it. Go with some sort of blenny, they will amuse you for hrs, so much personality. I have 2 blennies, a bi color and a midas, not the prettiest 2 fish in my tank, but deffinetly the most entertaining.

Some butterflies are reef safe, but its risky. Is it fish that stay small you lose, or young fish that aren't fully grown yet that you lose? You mentioned you lost an angel. and they aren't very small once they are grown. Older larger fish have a better survival rate, so thay might be part of your problem keeping small fish :notsure:
Not sure about that crab you are seeing, but you seem to have gotten a good luck at it, maybe do a search and find out if its harmless or not.
