last pic on post #3 - some sort of tube worm or bug looking creature that has been living on my sun coral rock for months. not sure what it is, maybe some1 can help with an ID?
it spews those little sticky strands to eat, and those bubbles on the tube are not normally there, i just ran out of water today and spewed a little air in the tank.
the other pics are some newer additions and old residents
Sorry for the repost from my DiY thread :D

That worm looks exactly like the 2 I have living among some Zoos. I think the are called spagetti worms.?? :notsure: Harmless little things. like to pull the substrate into mounds. They look like small ant hills. :hilarious

thanks for the compliments guys!
Vermitid snails are harmless?
i have seen this little guys body occasionally cause he hangs out at the top of the tube which is translucent, so i can see his shadow only runs about 1/2" down into the tube. and he looks like a fat black spider, from what i have seen. hard shell with small protrusions and body parts, so it doesnt look like a snail in the normal sense. i am going to research vermitids tho.

Vermitids are deadly predacious human parasites. It will crawl out of the tank at night seeking a warm-blooded victim and coat them with a slime net that paralyzes the victim so they can be slowly consumed over several weeks.
Your only option is to pack all of your corals and live rock into icechests and mail them to me so I can dispose of them properly. Good luck and I hope you sleep well tonight.
Oh, and congrats on the 2K post!

thanks guys -
the crab is a porcelain crab, with his filter feeding appendages up in the "it's good!" position lol
the yellow fish is a pink square anthias that has undergone a --- change and changed colors, and lost the infamous square. i kinda wish it would change back!

You can snap off the snails tube. It does create quite a mess in the tank when they shoot their webbing out to catch food.

Is the tube rigid?
I think I may have one also---sitting front and center on my pagoda cup...
Will try to snap it off...the one I have is very hard---
