Decided to play around with some new settings and try some new compositions.
The blue rics on the next two images created color balance issues, but fairly true to what they actually look like

Echino

This frag started life as the 2larger polyps and then spread to all the new babies, took about 2 months

And my favorite blasto.

90% of the time I'm using my 105mm Macro lens. Settings are usually manual focus, "A" mode, fstop is usually something like 11 thru 22.
Here's a few more, these are a little better than the prior posting. All of the above pics and these are shot thru the new starphire tank, what a dif this glass makes.

WOW!!! AMAZING PICTURES like always!!
But still, it looks like you did a little photo shopping. To make sure you didn't photo shop the pictures, you'll have to send me a few frags.

Nope, not a single photo was photoshopped in any way, all I do is crop the images with the program that came with my nikon, sometimes i'll use a low to medium sharpening, I never use color enhancing or altering of photos, I have PS2 but have no clue how to use the program.
Here one one of my newest,

Wow, those last pics are zoos, right? BEAUTIFUL!!!! I'll have to break down and get a macro one of these days, but need to recover from buying the camera first.
I'll keep practicing my photography and maybe I'll come close to your pics.

The last pics are of a Leptastrea (sp) Fun thing about this coral is that I've fragged extremely tiny polyps, and i'm talking single polyps that are about 1/8th of an inch, glued them to a plug and they grow like crazy. It's a LPS and very hardy. This one is kinda basic in color green/purple but you can get them in some mindblowing colors $$$.
Just keep practicing and you'll be posting pics like this in no time....

Nice pics Max. Would be interested in seeing a macro's of some of these as well. Great DoF on the Ric's! That whole shroom is nice and sharp! That's not an easy shot to get as I'm sure you know.
Those Devils Armor's that I gave ya look like they've bloomed out nicely as well. Did I give you AoG's too? If not let me know and I'll get you a few polyps to grow out ok?
Try to get a full macro of those long-skirted zoas. That ought to come out sweet!
