The last pics are of a Leptastrea (sp) Fun thing about this coral is that I've fragged extremely tiny polyps, and i'm talking single polyps that are about 1/8th of an inch, glued them to a plug and they grow like crazy. It's a LPS and very hardy. This one is kinda basic in color green/purple but you can get them in some mindblowing colors $$$.
Just keep practicing and you'll be posting pics like this in no time....
Well, I'll have to add that to my next corals to get for sure.
I posted some more pics on my thread. Tell me what you think.

Nice pics Max. Would be interested in seeing a macro's of some of these as well. Great DoF on the Ric's! That whole shroom is nice and sharp! That's not an easy shot to get as I'm sure you know.
Those Devils Armor's that I gave ya look like they've bloomed out nicely as well. Did I give you AoG's too? If not let me know and I'll get you a few polyps to grow out ok?
Try to get a full macro of those long-skirted zoas. That ought to come out sweet!
Those long skirted zoa's used to be a deep purple, but the lighting in my nano kinda sucked the color out of them, I'm hoping they color up in this tank....I'm getting ready to shoot the AOG's I got from you, just moved them and have to wait for the polyps to expand.....PM me if you want to come over for a photo session...

I love this guy, he's staked out claimed the Tangerine frags. Sometimes he sits on top of the frag....

Outstanding photos Max,you have some colorful, healthy, cool looking corals.
This might not be the right place for it ,but ill ask anyway.Does your Enchino swell up with fluid ever?Mine swell up pretty good around evening and throughout the night.

This one doesn't really do much, except sit there. What kinda Echino do you have?

Do you use the Nikon D40x?
Yeap, and I love the camera, very simple to operate and once you get the hang of what settings to use you can capture some incredible images.

How's the new tank coming along? Did you add the tonga branch?
-Justin
Thanks for the nice comments...
I added about 8lbs of Tonga and fragged several types of zoas to each branch, it'll take a while for for them to encrust the Tonga.
Just spent about 3 hours stagging the entire tank, meaning that I placed or moved each coral for optimal photography. Rhagemann is comming over a little later as we are going to have a photo/fragging session...............I wanted to kill my Purple tang, he kept picking at algae on the base of my Tyree Watermellon and kept knocking it over onto my acan's

And yes, the coraline algae in the mushroom pic is that purple, It's actually a royal pain to photography anything that has purple behind it, causes a color shift or something.
