thanks for all the help I ahave been fighting hair algae for over a year and have not wanted anyone too see my tank because of it. now that it is better I can show it off alittle I am still working on it to get it all out. I almost gave up I am glad I didn't now

well I started using kalk and I use a fudge and my orp was at 94 when I first tested it now it is 300 and it is my opinion that if you keep your calcium and alk up that helps alot and when you use a fudge use a good light 24/7 I use a all glass 55w pc over mine I never thought I would get rid of it. it has been one of the hardest things I have done

Sweet!! Good job dealing with the hair algaes...your system looks well on its way to a full recovery. Outstanding selection of corals. When you've completely got your algae problem under control...come on over here and help me deal with a persistant valonia problem in mine. I'm making progress but the dang stuff is a major pain in the arse!!!

at one time I thought it was going to kill all my corals on the base of my leathers the algae was eating at it they look like they are doing better now
