Here are a few pics of my 12 gal jbj. Excuse the white or clear floaties and on the glass a new batch of copepods has hatched and are all over the glass tonight.

About a year now. Had a green hair problem as you can see but my emerald crab and I are working on getting rid of most of it. Thanks for the compliment.

just the 24 w 10k 50/50 that came with it. It is a 2004 jbj before the deluxe. Gonna upgrade the lights but the soft corals I have seem to be fine under the lighting that came with the tank.

I think just another 24 wt or may two 36 w. I been reading and shopping the upgrade web site. Going to do the moon light upgrade this week. just finally got it sunday. What lights does yours have?

2- 36w pc and 2- led moonlights. I am really excited about adding corals, just don't know what yet. A buddy has offered to frag for me when I am ready, free is always cool. Your pics really encourage me. Thank you for posting them!!! :joy:

yeah I can afford free. sure I have found through trial and error that zoos do very well, xenia, mushrooms, candy cane, polyps love my lighting so they would really like yours. Good luck. post more pics when you get them

oh yeah make sure you change the bulbs at least yearly. i had a growth stunt and when I got a new bulb (saved the old one for emergency lighting) the polyps sprouted like weeds.
