Here is my new addition, a baby potters angel!

After a thorough cleaning from my shrimp, shes eating and is very healthy swimming and exploring. Wish me luck with her, i know they're not easy.

I had one before but he or she would not eat no matter what I did and it died, so I am glad you got yours to eat, good luck with him or her. I love to have another but I think I am done with adding fish at this time.

she seems to like the seaweed sheets and i've been watching her pick at my rocks and tank back. as she gets more comfortable ill be going to try and get her to eat either pygmy angel food or formula 1 for some added nutrition. just for a fall back, ill stop scraping one side of the tank so there's always a food source for her.

i had one. They are so pretty. I would get another one but everyone around here sells them for $60+. Plus may tanks a lil full. I had mine for about a little over a year and a half and then i bought a couple of new fish from this store and after that my tank started to crash i couldn't keep anything but its fine now. Good luck with her, keep us up to date.

yeah, i' not going to pretend i got a good deal on her... she was $60. i was able to use my 10% discount from being a member of the long island reef association, so at least tax was taken care of. i've wanted an angel for a long time and i'm glad i jumped at the chance. ill try and get a few full body shots tomorrow.
i was a little worried my clown was going to get all territorial and be nasty but hes been ok with the new tank mate. if anything, putting the angel in the tank has boosted the clowns hosting instinct and he has been all over his rock of star polyps. before the angel he never showed much interest in hosting.

anyone but me amazed at the length of the skirts on those star polyps?? that rock started as a colony about the size of a quarter my father traded me for. six months later its the size of a softball and is ridiculously healthy.

hah, did some digging and i found the original picture of those star polyps when they were first put in the tank... about six months ago. that entire rock is covered now.
