How much did you pay for that purple starfish?
At local stores in fla, they want 30 to 40 dollars,
is that a fair price?

A Tamaria stria common name is Purple Linkia. Not really a Linkia maybe, but thats what they are sold as.. I alos looked on sites for the name Tamaria stria. It came up as purple linkia. Kinda strange....
edit:
Just did some more research on Tamaria stria. Some people have reported just as golfish has stated, they eat shrooms..

I will try to take some pics if he gets on the glass. I bought these from ----. 2 for $19.99 + $25 shipping = $44.99/2 = $22.50 each. I will watch them closely, but I would actually not mind if they ate some mushrooms. They are growing out of control anyway.

I paid 89.99 for my purple linkia. I wish I'd only paid 40! Gah my LFS is over-priced. I'm not sorry I bought it though. It's beautiful. It will latch on to a Formula One or Two cube and not let go until it's gone. The first time I saw it, it cracked me up.

The green stuff is a type of caulerpa. Believe it or not, that rock has been in my tank for almost 2 years and until about 2 months ago never had any growth on it. I moved it closer to my zooanthids so they would grow onto it and now this caulerpa pops up out of nowhere. There is no other caulerpa in the tank anywhere. How can algae be "dormant" for 2 years and then suddenly start growing?
