you can in fact feed it lettuce... make sure it is romain lettuce.. we had a rabbit from the day it was born untill it died 8 years later. average life span I believe is 3-4 years.. so you do the math. make sure you get it to the vet to check for fleas and ticks since it is an outside/inside rabbit. get the claws in front trimmed, but dont have them removed... rabbits really rely on there front claws. just make sure you spend tons of time handleing it so it becomes friendly towards people and 2 years down the road you will still be able to handle it.

actually average live span for a healthy indoor rabbit is 10-13 years. they're an actual long term pet... my girlfriend and i always joke about having bought a small tragedy for later on in life. jacknjill, your bunny looks like a mini-rex. they're long livers!
nuggets loves to hang out with our other pet. this is kohkoh. shes a 4 month old cinnamon hedge hog.

Aw ive always thought it would be cool to have a hedgehog.
THanks for the advice everyone. I cant decide if my rabbit is a baby still growing or a dwarf adult. Either way, hes doing very well,
