All I can say is..
Where the hell are all the sitcoms?? We are never gonna get anymore GOOD shows like friends and that 70's show cause of these retarded reality shows.
REALITY?? Where do they get these people that they put on these shows? This is not reality! They oughtta call it "Extremely Exaggerated Retarded Monkey Shows".
Stupid stupid stupid. Hey reef_magic, here's another example of "blatantly stupid". :)

I encourage everyone to watch "Just Rodney" when it comes out on abc. his stand up is hilarious hopefully the show will be too. sooner or later this whole reality thing will go away. hopefully.

Unfortunately, we probably won't be seeing too many quality sitcoms anytime soon. The greedy networks love reality programming, because they can get ratings equal to sitcoms with a reality series produced on a fraction of the budget it would take to produce a top-rated sitcom.
Using Friends and Survivor as an example, the combined Friends cast was paid more than $5 million PER EPISODE, while Survivor only had to buck up $1 million to the winner at the end of its run. With production costs probably fairly equal and advertising revenue equal as well (based on similar top-5 ratings), it's silly for the profit-driven networks to program anything other than reality.
Sorry if I'm ranting too much, but it makes me sick that the networks set their programming to line their fat wallets, especially knowing that Joe American will flock to reality television. And then there's the whole issue of morals and ethics (or lack of them) when the networks strive to produce ratings. That's why we end up with programming like "The Wife Swap". Uggggggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
