This derasa clam that I purchased about a week ago is just CRAZY quick. The thing has probably already grown about a quarter of an inch. Then I had to move it for a minute while I transfered a mangrove and I set it up on the rock, no more then 25 seconds later it had attached itself to the rock. I guess i am now stuck with it there and it seemed happier in the substrate. First off I didnt even think they were supposed to attach. I wish my crocea would attach that quick. THAT one usually takes 10-15 hours to attach.
