IM starting a 29 gallon reef tank. I have about 50lbs of live rock in there right now and it has been cycling for about 5 weeks now. Once I start adding fish and some corals what are the cemical levels I need to be aware of other than the nitrate nitrite and ph?

Being that small of a system, I would run a battery of tests probably weekly to ensure that you don't get any large spikes or drops in everything, until you are confident and your reef is established.
That would include Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrate, Calcium, phosphates, and Alkalinity as well as the trace elements.
Just starting is when you run into all sorts of changes and with a small system as a 29, anything can be devistating and you have little room for dillusion.

These are your main specs to be aware of when starting and maintaining a reef.
Of course, your basics are important as well. PH, Ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite. Once these are in check then test for the others.
Your flow is also important. Corals need more flow than just fish. This does more than just move water, it supplies them food, as well as get rid of dietrus.
