yeah you just want some in there so the cheato has something to hold onto

you will need something to keep the cheato in there anyway but LR is one of the best filters avail.

My cheato is free floating. It doesn't need to anchor, it grows quite fast. I have to trim mine every week.

ok, so i need to get an eggcrate and cut it to put in my filter so the cheato wont float off in my tank?
