New refugium in my sump

I decided to go ahead and buy the insert. This is what it looks like:

The small hole is outside the small chamber and is where the pump fits. The overflow grate is higher than the wall opposite.
Wish me luck!

OK, I have my setup ready to go and I plan to install next week.
I plan to put live sand, chaeto algae, and snails in the fuge. Does that make sense? Is there anything else I should add or watch out for?

i would add small shelves in your refugium, that are just mesh zipped tied to a plastic separator, with some PVC pipe below it to separate the sand and give the algae and bacteria more area (sand surface) to multiply on!
I have two of them on mine!

The first 3 pics are a piece of the shelf that was extra/left over from the larger piece i cut from.
It is small PVC, Zip Ties, Plastic Crossed Lining, and mesh!
The last pic is of it in my refugium (still need to add more sand!)

Thanks for showing me. I think it's a bit complicated for my set up. Here's the final product without the chaeto:
