new rock

i have fought the hair algea battle and won. ive been free of it for some time now. i just added a new rock to my tank. it is the size of a softball, and has star polyps and zoos on it. also a bunch of hair algea. do you think this might start a new war, or can i keep it contained by removing it by hand.
the last time i pulled it out by hand and brushing the rock clean. and a rock blenny finish it off
i kinda getting concerned after reading recent post of hair algea

Yellow Tangs are great for algea. But if you dont have enough live rock or plants in your tank you will have to feed the fish....
Dont know if you want fish in your reef tank, but thats how i got rid off all my algea in my 250.
