well for starters id steer away from the lionfish, until youve got alot more experience under ur belt. and before we start talking about your livestock, could u clue us in on what u are currently running on the tank? such as lights, filter media, skimmer, powerheads, etc... i dotn mean to rain on your parade, but the people on this site, me included, just want you to enjoy the hobby and not end up wasting all your money away with no clue what your doing, remember, in this hobby patience is golden.

im sorry, but i cant really help u on this one. my tank is only a 29gallon, ive had a 55gallon, but it was freshwater, and i have no need for a fuge or sump so far, so i have no experience with them...sorry..i figure its best to tell u that i dont know, rather than steer u in the wrong direction..post a thread with your question and im sure sumone with more experience will chime in and help u!

You will not be able to put any fish in that tank for a while unless you want to kill it. Your tank has to cycle first. How much live rock and live sand are you getting with your tank? Your set up will depend also on what your plan is for your tank like do you want corals? there are so many factors that go into it. Good luck with your first tank. Do research and ask lots of questions.

Welcome to the boards. A good book to get that will help you is 'The Conscientous Marine Aquairst' by Robert Fenner. It is a valuable tool for a lot of people on this site. As stated above you will need to cycle your tank first. Are you planning to put live rock in the tank and if so how much? Good luck.
