new sand substrate

Ok - I have a new sand substrate (carib-sea aragonite - 1 1/4") that i just put in my tank.
whenever i move or do anything close to the bottom of the tank a huge sand-storm kicks up and the tank gets cloudy - will this go away as the substrate settles, or is there something I can do?
When i do my 10% water changes should i use a gravel vac to try and collect up some of the dust?

once your sand settles and more creatures inhabit it, it will settle down as long as you dont do too much to stir it up. Dont gravel vac sand. Not only will it cause a sand storm, but it will make it no longer live. When i do water cchanges, i siphone form the surface so a tiny bit of air comes in the tube too because 70% of dissolved organics are on the surface of the water.

Once the bacteria coats the sand grains you won't have that problem anymore.
