New Sand

I just received a box of sand from SWF.com and suggestions on how to introduce it?? Just slowly dump it in or what?? Rinse or no rinse??

just add it slowly to the tank. there is no need to rinse it. i take a clear plastic cup, scoop some sand up in it, add some tank water to it, let it drop down to the sand bed and hten gently pour it out. this results in very little clouding and is the easiest way to go, imo.
