New seahorses, questions???

I got 3 erectus seahorses yesterday from my LFS. 2 females & 1 male. They are all eating & acting fine & are very healthy looking. But on the male & 1 female are small bumps on the underside of their tails where they hook onto things. Are these parasites, or something else? They look so healthy, it's hard to believe they're parasites? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated...

Do they look fluid filled, like a blister?

I'll try to get pics tomorrow, hard to say if fluid filled or not , they are the same coloration of their skin markings, but like small blisters? Can I ,or should I gently hold them in the water to get pics? Oh, & thanks so much for the quick replies!!!
