Hey all...I got a new yellow with purple tip sebae anenome yesterday. I was wondering how long it would take for my clarkii's to host in it? And if there is anything I can do to speed the process along??? My first anenome

I just picked up a purple tip anenome too. My Clarkii was all over it before we knew it. You could see him get really excited when he saw it.

It's completely up to the clown. Short of talking to the fish and attempting to reason with it, there's nothing you can do.
I put a maroon clown into a tank with a BTA last summer and it took him about 6 weeks to find it. He's never been far from it since.

Some clowns will go into them right away others take a while. It really depends on if the clowns have ever came in contact with anenomes. Some clowns are tank bred and have never seen a anenome but eventually instinct takes over and they will end up going in them.
