hey guys
ive kind of droped out for a while im joksta i dont know if you remeber me but i was having a really time with hair algea and ive got it somewhat under control. all my fish have been gone for a while now so the algea hasnt had anything to feed on.
please tell me what you think
sugestions welcome
i am using my friends new camera so hopefully the pics are better
before

so you have gotten rid of youre fish because of an algae problem?(is it working ). i think it looks pretty good . what kind of lights do you have and what is the tall coral in the pic?

umm well i lost my fish for many different resons some not in my control and some in my control. i had 2 get sucked into my filter and 2 got killed. but yes that did kind of work for killing the algea because i had nothing to feed and algea feeds on extra food. i still have some work to do but over all i think it has gotten alot better
the tall coral is a yellow fiji leather it just wont stop growing i had to put him on the sand because as you can see in my before pic it was poking out of the water

my lighting is a power compact with 2 actinics and two regular bulbs (dont know wat they are called) but the watts is 250 i believe

Those are some of Thee crazyist micro shots i have yet to see. Seriously ***) great rockwork and i love the renovation to the tank. All looks good and good luck as hopefully everything does even better as your tank progresses. :happyfish

From what I have read (and maybe you should not take my advice since I have not done it) you can cut the head off of the leather to frag it and it will just grow a new head. That thing looks HUGE!
