No. If the fish are DOA, you get a refund. If it is after 5 hours, and within 15 days, you get a credit. I think they really try to do right by the customers. Stuff happens with livestock. I must admit that SWF has really tried to take care of this and answer all my questions.
But you are still out the shipping costs! I have had nothing but bad experiences with SWF.com. My first couple of purchases were unbelievable as far as the quality of livestock and the price, but it started going downhill from there, due to customer service. I was getting the wrong fish shipped or it was the right fish but wrong color etc. I have probably spent $5,000 over the past 3 months adding fish & coral to my 120 bow front and I told swf that when I talked to them this most recent time and let them know that they wouldn't get another dime of my money. I was really disappointed because the first few orders were excellent but it started going downhill. Needless to say, I goes elsewhere with MUCH better results. Not to bash swf.com but this is just my opinion based on personal experience!
