New Shrooms!

Hi Guys,
Well after a year of setting up my tank and getting over all the obstacles you can, i finally bought my first proper coral!
They are two knobbly mushrooms. I got them mailorder from London (3 hours away) as one LFS has shut down and the other's selection was pitiful! For both of them including shipping they cost £50, which is $75 or so. I know that is far more expensive than what you guys pay, but supply and demand I guess, and these guys are the cheapest!
Here are the pics of them, both arrived and were put in tank 1 and half hours ago. The bag was a bit too cold for my liking but one of them seems fine, the other a bit timid.
How long before they are their normal selves?
Tim.

had to post this pic, notice my regal tang trying to get in the picture at the back! At the front you can see a few clove polyps that attached themselves to some LR.

Hi Guys,
The macro isnt bryopsis, i checked that out a while ago, not sure entirely what it is. Ill have a look on grassillaria. Either way the tang sure likes to chomp on it.

Got those exact ones.... Put a little iodine in once in a while and they will spread like wild fire

Thanks guys!
They seem to be spending most of today expelling mucus of some description, much to the confusion of my clownfish, is this normal?

Yep - they are just sloughing off a slime coating that built up due to stress ... you could try blowing them gently with a turkey baster if you want to speed up the process - but personally I'd just let them go ... they've had aenough stress already!

I vote for Gracilaria. My tank loves the stuff also.
