New skimmer setup... feedback please!

Ok, right now I have a 30 gallon tank with two power filters and one cheap-o power head from *****.
I'm looking at replacing pretty much everything that is in there in favor of...
Three maxi-jet 600 powerheads and an Aqua C Remora with with maxi-jet 1200. I'm somewhat new to this so any feedback on the skimmer would be great, I'm sure this should provide enough water circulation for my little 30 gallon tank but I'm trying to determine if the Remora is a good skimmer or if I've just been reading propaganda.
The tank also has 30 lbs of fiji live rock for additional bio filtration and I currently have roughly 20 crabs and 6 or 7 snails.

Supposed to be a great skimmer. Haven't read anything bad about them. Look at the hydor korilia (sp) powerheads. Do you have a sump? If so I wouldn't go with 3 PH's.

No sump, I'd like to eventually go with a sump setup if I can manage to fit one in the cabinet so I can get a little extra mileage out of the 30 gallon tank before I ultimately end up going bigger.
