Can anyone give me any feedback if this is a good skimmer or not?

Coralife Skimmer are considered decent, reasonably priced skimmers. Many people, including myself, have reported some problems getting them adjusted to consistently skim well. THey can be finicky but offer good 'bang for the buck'
If you post your tank size and whether you have a sump with the possibilty of an 'in sump'
skimmer people at this forum can give you more advice.
If you are going with 'hang on the back' (HOB) skimmers..check out the Remoras. More money, better skimmer, IMO.

i have the same skimmer on my 45 gal but its hob and i had to mod it to my liking but to answer you question i does a nice job....

I hooked up a pump to the air line and there is a noticable difference. i call it turbo charging.

just dont pump alot of air into it cause then it wont skimm as effective.

i just started using one because i got it for next to nothing.
it's really hard to get it dialed in perfect, i still get some micro bubbles in the tank.
overall tho it does skim a lot more than my aquac remora.
