New tank algae

Got two clownfish in there and they're doing great! Had a slight hiccup at the start when one choked on a pellet, but it eventually dissolved and the gills went back to normal. Gonna get smaller pellets lol.

Anyway, nitrates 20ppm :) I've finally got diatoms and GHA popping up. Yay!
Now what's the general strategy from here on in? I clean the glass and leave the algae on the rocks? Or clean the rocks too?

I realize I'm gonna have bursts of algae as my tank stabilizes. So I'm wondering if it's a good idea to constantly clean it?

Lol these clowns...prancing around the tank like they own it. They love my magfloat cleaner. $100's of rock and they pick the magfloat haha...

Love these buggers

I'd leave the algae. In a way it will tell you how you are doing with nutrient control. It will go away when your levels drop

I'd leave it alone. I'd leave lights off in the display and let that stuff grow as wild as it wants in the refugium.
