New tank and ready to start!

Ok Got a brand new 75 setting in the basement ready to go. I plan to fill it with the "dead sand" and get this kicked off. Can I just order my 50 lbs or so of lr from swf.com and cure it in the brand new tank with no fish or anything? I plan on seeding with some live sand just a bit later. <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" />

actually doing it that way, would IMO help the cycle, i like to cycle with lr and lsin that manner
