All I can say is wow man. I just went threw and read your whole thread great setup and love what you did. I would love to do something like that when we move to our house we will stay in for a while. I know you are loving every single bit of it

I think im going to leave all my fish in QT for a couple more weeks, I am know back to normal salinity, but I think I would like the DT to be fishless for 8 weeks, I do not want my fish to go through this again!

the recommendation is 6-8 wks, but most say that 6 is fine. Personally, when I last did hypo, once the fish were back up to regular salinity, I left things as they were until a week had passed - just to be safe - to make sure nothing popped up on the fish.

I figure that going 8 weeks is just a precaution, the fish are all very healthy, but i would rather be safe than sorry!

Thank you azul1994!

All the fish made a successful trip back to the DT this morning!
I hope the 8 weeks that the DT was fishless was enough! The Fish all seemed to be back to great health after my ick episode
Time will tell though

Glad to hear everything made it through hypo and you didn't have any losses due to ich. Hope you don't have to mess with ich again. It is a pain to sit and look at a tank without any fish because they are all in hypo and you can't put anything else in because of disease.
Tank is looking good btw.

Looks very nice, you did a great job setting everything up. It had to be a very expensive setup. But again good job looks awsome.

I think I need to invest in a really nice camera now! My camera takes some terrible pictures
Here are a few pics, I will post some more later when the halides are running!
