new tank cycle

hey all as i have stated in another thread i just started a new 36 gallion tank. here is a description of every thing i have so far. penguin 350power filter,visi-therm deluxe 100 watt heatter, penguin 550 power head, Prizm Pro Deluxe Skimmer and for lighting i will have 36" 192W (96Wx2) power compact lighting with moon fase. i have around a 2'' sand bed. i recived 45 pounds of lr last thursday and i also added around 12 pound of lr from my 55 gallion tank and added a filter cartridge out of the 55 two. so my tank has been cycling for around 5 days here are my readings so far
ph-8.2 ppm
ammonia- 0.25 ppm
nitrite- 5.0 ppm
nitrate- 60 ppm
specific gravity 1.023
does every thing seem to be going ok? am i missing anything
will countinue to post my readings every other day how often should i do a water change will cycling

Everything looks ok to me. No need to do water changes during cycle. It will just make it longer. After your ammonia and nitrite are at 0 and your nitrate has spiked, then do a water change to bring down the nitrates to at least 20.

my readings are exactly the same today but i would like to talk alittle about the stocking list here is what i want
fish
1 pair of Yellowstripe Maroon Clownfish (or should i get 1)
1Sailfin/Algae Blenny
1 flame angel
mabe 1 more not shure sugestions would be great
clean up crew
10 -Dwarf Zebra Hermit Crab
2- Hawaiian Feather Duster
6-Margarita Snail
3-Super Tongan Nassarius Snail - Extra Large
i would like a star too if posibule
1 will get 20 more snails off e%^&
corals
1 Button Polyp - Med or
Colony Polyp - Med
1 Yellow Colony Polyp - Med
1 Hairy Mushroom Coral - Med
1 Bullseye Mushroom Coral - Med or
Green Fluorescent Mushroom Coral - Med
so that is my wish list wich fish should i by first. can i add all of these corals at once? i would like to becouse it would save me lots of money. any sugestions comments ex

ok so i tested today and here are my results

nitrite- 0.25
nitrate 20
salinity 1.023 want to rais this to 1.025
is ever think seem right ?

Looks like the cycle is chugging right along.
As for your stocking, add clowns first, then blenny, then angel. Add corals in increments as well. You can add more than one at a time but not all. Maybe 3 small or 2 big colonies.

ok my tank is cycled im so excited i just orderd 2 cinnamen clown of here for my first fish. i also added 2 snails and i hermet from my 55 just for somthing to look at

i went ahead and orderd some more snails and the assorted pack of hermits on here two i hope every thing comes ok im kinda wored that i will have another spike by adding two fish at once but i want to add these guys first and together i also got my skimmer today its cool i now it needs time to break in. iv been doing some researce on this guy and people ether love it or hate it (red sea prizm delux) but we will see, also i have had a little problum with my temp its been up around 82 i unpluged my heater i think its the lights and the unusawal weather we have been having in the up well thanks guys let me now what you think
