new tank help!!!!!!!

i have a 530 gallon tank and i have no idea what to put in it. i know this is like my 2nd thread but nobody is helping me. please help. I would perfer an easy to take care of shark or something it dosent matter just please help.i have a few thousand dollars to spend on stuff. i dont want to mess this up, if i decide on my own i will probally screw somthing up and waste a few thousand dollars. please help me!!!!!! .. i need good advice

A 530 g tank!?!? Dayum!
Did you make sure to get all of your basic equipment? Thats definately the most important
lights ( substantial watts, esspecially if you want coral)
heater
powerheads
filter
Hydrometer or refractometer
Live rock * you will need at least 1 lb per gallon*
Live sand
And Im just guessing but I think for a tank that big you might want to set up a pump
And as for fish, I have no clue really, you should give the people here a list of what you would like so they can give you direct advice on each.

two things... i hope to have a problem like this one day.. and two is if you were going to purchase a tank and equipment suitable for this, its kind of a big commitment, wouldn't you have something in mind or do something in the ways of research BEFORE you bought it all? maybe im just a penny pincher

i didnt even know i was getting the tank ... my parents suprised me.. please help me with fish .. some fish store is doing the filter and allt he stuff

Uh I wouldn't even trust the LFS to take care of that kind of stuff for you, they'll prolly lay stuff on thick to get you to spend more money
Plus some of them, to say bluntly,are dumbasses
I got my tank today and I was looking for a filter and the guy helping me hands me a frikkin Fresh Water filter. I almost smacked him across the head.
So double check all the merchandise they push at you before you buy
and like I said about the Fish
LIST what you THINK you MIGHT want
and people will tell you yes or no

well that would be true if I was giving him specific details on what to do with his tank
But Im pretty sure I just gave him general all-around advice.
