First of all I want to thank you for all the help..
but i still have more questions.
I set up my first tank saturday.
90 gal
40 dead sand
20 live sand
25 lr
on sunday i checked all the levels including salt, nitrate, nitrite, amonia, and ph everything was good
i put in two damsels who have absolutly thrived with no problems they eat as soon as I put in food and swim around all day.
Yesterday I put in 30lbs more of live rock and again tested all water samples. again there were no problems everything was level.
what next?
how long should I wait to do anything else?
Is there anything else I should do?

I would just stick to keeping the damsels in for atleast a week or two just to see how everything goes. If the LR wasn't cured, then you might see some intense amonia spikes which could easily wipe out your fish. Do you have a protein skimmer? That would help out to cure the LR.

How did the rock smell before you put it in? If it had a bad odor to it, then it isn't cured. You should have known right away how it was before you put it into your tank. Did you purchase it from a LFS and if you did, do you know how long they had it in a tank.
