New tank set up (cycle)

I am setting up a 110 gallon tank and I was wondering if I should run my filtration while the tank cycles?

Yes , that is the whole purpose of cycling .

you run your tank as if you had live stock in it, the purpose of cycling is to allow your biological filtration, as well as your mechanical filtration adjust to the amount of waste capacity your tank will be endouring. so yeah run your flitration and if you would like to as well, run your lights on a 12 hour cycle as well.

I wouldn't run your lights for a full 12 hours, but I would run them.
