New tank setup- opinions appreciated

Have several questions on setting up new 110gallon reef tank. First, it is obvious that driliing tank for sump overflow is the right way to go. Is 1.5" tubing the best size to go with and if so what size hole and how many and where in tank? Am probably going with Tidepool ll wet-dry sump and EU skimmer. I see this skimmer is very pricey and comes with its own pump. Anyplace to get this at better price and without pump as i would like to go with Mag pump. Would spray bar for return line going the whole length of the tank be the best way? Just ordered 110 gallon acrylic from Tenecor and will have them drill the holes but i need to tell them what size, where and how many. Thanks in advance for all your worthy input.

IMO you have to decide where YOU want your overflow to be for viewing purposes. mine is on the side of the tank cuz i have a room divider set-up (also have acrylic)
i would think the people drilling the tank would be able to tell you the size of the tubing to use.
for my sump i previously had a wet/dry but got rid of that and got a 28 gal rubbermaid container and it holds my skimmer, pump, heater and all very nicely.
hth i am new too! but had lots of help from some good people setting it all up.
also my helpers put some eggcrate material in the bottom of the tank so the rocks wouldnt be touching the bottom and critters can get underneath the rock. nobody here mentioned that i and i think it is a great idea IMO again :) HTH some
