how are these 2 1/2 weeks in
phosphate 0.5ppm
ammonia .25ppm
nitrite 5.0ppm
nitrate 20ppm
ph 8.2

how much longer do you think is in my cycle and when can i add fish i now have only 50 #'s live rock

Was your rock precured or fully cured?? If it was cured, how'd you start your cycle??

I don't blame you... I blame whoever advised you to do that!!
This should be made into a sticky!! This is the perfect example of why we shouldn't use fish to cycle. Just because some fish can tolerate it, doesn't mean they should be subjected to it...

If your LR was cured...no, it wasn't cured. Do you know if it was PREcured??
If it was then a 3 to 4 week cycle is the norm. If not at all then it could be up to 8 weeks.:)

my rock was cured , i have used some cycle to help to process, when do i know that it is safe to add fish or when my cycle is over

Your ammonia, nitrates and nitrite readings will all fall to 0. After they do that, perform a 10 to 20% water change then it is safe to add fish. But only add 2 at a time at most. Each time you add a new fish your tank goes through a mini cycle and if you add like 4 or 5 the cycle can spike the ammonia again to toxic levels...
