"cycle" is not a addictive... You need to cycle your tank before getting livestock..I suggest u start reading and dont add anything to your tank thats living!! before u read...asked questions...asked more questions, and read some more.

OK it sounds like UR off on the wrong foot or just haven't received proper instruction. You need to cycle first then add live stock. The product UR asking about is a powder you add to the tank which introduces bacteria to the tank to get the cycle started its not a magic potion which causes instant cycle but it will speed things up. The product comes in two flavor SAltwater and Freshwater make sure you get the proper one. MY advise is to return UR fish and cycle first or find someone witha tank who could house them for you while UR tank cycles. Do a search on this website on tank and cycle an you will find plenty of information on what to test for and how to know when UR tank is ready.
