hey guys, im turning my corner tank into my qt tank and am going to purchase a new reef ready tank. how big do you guys think i should go??? The smallest I would want would b a 90.

o ya and my plans for the tank are a reef, passive fish. going to have metal halids and full set up just want to know what tank size you guys would go with.

i really like some of the 210gal reefs i have seen.. but its really easy to spend some one elses money...

as said above....get the biggest the space and your wallet will allow. the more water volume you have, the easier you will have it. more room for variability in levels. a small chemical reaction (for lack of a better term) will have less of an effect with more water volume. the more water, the easier to maintain. in smaller tanks the same chemical reaction will have more effect.

Sounds like a great plan and that you've been doing your research... trust me, you'll be happy with the results.

The bigger the better , as long as the wife says it's ok !
I am waiting for 1 more kid to move out, then I get to turn the spare room into my fish room! 300 gal tank right through the wall! :jumping: :jumping: :jumping:
