Not sure which fish you should get... But I will say that I applaude you for waiting for your tank to cycle and mature before adding fish. It sounds like you are off to a good start.

Agreed. Good work.
well I like the sohal, but as i've read... as long and the color and/or body type of the tangs are different enough, then they won't get aggresive towards eachother.
Goodluck with your tank. Is it going to be fowlr or reef?

Everything sounds great...but i would REALLY reconsider keeping the lionfish with any kind of trigger....I have heard way too many horror stories about the combination, even as extreme as a 3 inch trigger killing a 12 inch lionfish! Pick one, IMO it's a really bad idea to have both. I originally wanted to get a trigger, but decided not to, because I like my lionfish WAY too much to risk it. Best of luck with everything!

that's a good fish list. won't the trigger eat the hermit crabs?
go for the sohal tang!! tangs are way more active swimmers and awesome colors.

The Pinktail Trigger is auctually considered reef safe

is it really? i didn't know that! hmm.. i'll look into that, maybe get one for my tank... i have a few shrimp and a starfish, but other than that it's a fowlr tank.

One of the few triggers for the kept in the reef aquarium. Usually ignore sessile invertebrates, may eat ornamental shrimp.

Yes larrge angels are ok to keep with Dwarfs. So you should be fine. Don't forget to post some pics?
