im getting ready to set up a new tank going from a 55 to a 90 with overflow any ideas or advice welcome also looking to purchase a wet dry filter wondering any pros or cons to this settup need lots of advise

whats the difference between a fuge and sump

a wet dry is a good filter but must be wached carfuly. most people are using a sump fuge combo with a good skimmer. with enough LR youy can have enough bio filtration

a sump is a tank under your stand that hold equipment so that it can be hiding from view
a refugium (fuge) is a sump that has baffles and macro algeas in it for further filtration. the baffles are to keep the macro from entering the pump and jamming it up. the baffles also help direct the flow of water so that the algea may grow.

whats Lr and will a sump and fuge both fit in my stand
