New to Nano have questions

Hi all,
I just bought a 12 gallon JBJ nano deluxe tank with 10 lbs of ls and 10lbs of lr, I'm curious as how long these usually take to cycle. Will it take as long as the bigger tanks?

It should take 3-6 weeks depending on how much ammonia you introduce and if the rocks and sand are fully cured or not.

I'm really excited

about getting this going, our 200 and 72 gallon tanks are down right now, after we lost everyone

in the 200 a few months back we decided to wait until all the remodeling was done before we started them back up. We still have at least 2-3 months to go so I talked my hubby into a nano for our bedroom. That wasn't to hard to do, he loves the tanks as much as I do. I need to go buy a new test kit thou, I was going to test today and our test kit doesn't look to great, so I'm going to buy one later today and see what it shows.
Thanks for replys, I'll probally have alot of questions, if I understand it correctly a nano is more difficult to care for than a bigger tank, am I right?
