Looks like he cycled for about 3 weeks. It's HARD to wait a full month, especially on your first SW tank!
But really, if the live rock you'd gotten was mostly cured already, that will actually speed up the cycle process.
And as for the clowns -- well, I agree different species will usually fight, but I have a small false perc and a large maroon yellow stripe in a 55g setup, and they don't fight at all. I think maybe it's because the smaller perc was in the tank first, and I added the maroon clown a month later. I watched them closely when I introduced the new clown (if anything went wrong I was going to banish the f. perc to the 37 gallon tank) but since the bigger fish was the "newbie" he didn't make a fuss -- just picked out his section of LR and hung out. Are you going to do an anemone or two as well?
Congrats on the 10 gallon nano setup! Your live rock will help keep chemistry balanced, but still make sure to do partial water changed at least once every 10 days, no later. The only trouble with small systems is when the chemistry starts to go south, it will do so in a hurry. Even my 37 gallon tank can act persnickety at times.

Looks great IMO since you have a small tank the ease of a two to three gallon water change every five days should leave you a little safety cushion as far as build up is concerned

i dont know where to put frags so they spread...i put the GSP down in the sand touching the one peice of rock because i want them to spread UP the rock.
i realised i had been keeping my lights on for to long so now i cut it back to about 5 hours a day.
dont have a timer yet im to lazy to go get one.
so far so good now. all my corals look healthy. i think this weekend ill try another shrimp. a cleaner shrimp. or a pistol shrimp goby combo.
would i be overstocked with a small goby?

okay so i found out i cant keep shrimp.
i took 45 mins to acclimate this cleaner shrimp i got...same fate as the other shrimp i had...dead.
good news is i got a blue ric and 3 nassarius snails. i think my next purchase will be an anenome for my clowns. i have the wattage so well see how it does.
question about re aquascaping...can i do this at any time? because i dont really like my current setup i want the setup i had when i first set it up.

The green "ooze" is a form of bacteria. Try doing a search for cyano bacteria. There are a few different colors as well. Lookin good so far

use a gel super glue and glue your coral to the rock you want them on and your crab and snails wont knock them off. Super glue is safe for the tank i use Loctite and it seems to work well. Tank is looking good

Nice 10g. I started with a 10g and still have it...I personally think its good to start at such a small gallon because it makes you really good at taking care of SWF tanks because you must keep up on a 10g weekly for it to be okay, I do a 2g water change every saturday. I also have 2 clowns and a watchman! :) nice rockwork too, what watt lights are you running?
