Greetings! I am just now beginning my venture into reefs and saltwater and had a general question about the position of rocks/equipment. I just set up my tank on 1/25. Its a 30 gallon tank and I've added live rocks/sand and set up my filtration. I wanted to go with the two "islands" on both sides and after watching my tank cycle the past couple of days began to wonder about the set up of my skimmer and filter. I currently have both positioned on the rear corners of the tank but was thinking about moving them to the center and positioning my reefs on the sides...does anyone have any thoughts on specific positioning of the filtration system and how this might impact my tank going forward?
